As a PTC site owner and affiliate of hundreds of companies, I have a pretty decent grasp on how things work online. Online surveys are where companies pay for feedback from an online survey company’s membership. Sure, those companies want to make money, but most are realistic. Then, there is PlanetPanel.net …

PlanetPanel.net has a membership of 500,000. They want all of their members to complete surveys, for which they are, most likely, compensated at a rate of 25 cents to a dollar per completed survey. If they only had one survey per month, at the 25 cent rate, and only 100,000 took it, that would net them $25,000.

What do they pay in return ??? 1 award of $1,000 and @ 40 awards of $50, for a total of $3,000(in the form of a lottery, no less !!!)

When you concider that they have more than one survey per month, and that some pay more than 25 cents, and also factor in that more than 100,000 will take the surveys, you have an example of an unreasonable return for the members of PlanetPanel.net. I can only hope that others see how ridiculous this company is and avoid it like the plague.
